LA MARMOTTE CYCLE SPORTIVE WEEK
1-8JULY, 2012

We are now taking bookings for the 2012 La Marmotte cycle sportive, Cycle Hame will be operating a week long holiday accommodation package and a weekend option.

La Marmotte is a challenging alpine cycle sportive and a must-do for all keen road bike enthusiasts. The event is 174km with 5000m vertical ascent over famous Tour de France cols before finishing on Alpe d'Huez.

MARMOTTE 2012 ITINERARY

• Sun - 1July pick up from Geneva airport, Moutier train station or self drive.
• Mon-Wed - 2-4July Accompanied/supported riding days, either local rides or nearby classic cols and climbs.
• Thur - 5July Ride in the morning. Transfer to Bourg d'Oisan/Alpe d'Huez.
• Fri - 6July Collect race numbers, final preparations and option of gentle spin before the big day.
• Sat - 7July "La Marmotte"Early start today depending on your start time
• Sun - 8July If you are up for it the mass start climb from Bourg d'Oisan up l'Alpe d'Huez will be held in the morning, this is a separate entry and does cost extra. In the afternoon you will be transported back to Lyons St Exupery airport/train station.

• £650 pp week package
• £450 pp weekend only Thurs-Sun



INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

• 4 nights accommodation in Chalet Grange a Charlotte
• 3 nights accommodation near Bourg d'Oisan/Alpe d'Huez
• Breakfast and afternoon tea each day
• Evening meals on 6 evenings
• Guiding and vehicle support as described above
• Airport/train station transfers as described above
